EPP Dublin Congress, 6-7 March

The European People's Party (EPP) will hold its Congress for the European elections on 6 and 7 March in Dublin, Ireland. Detailed information can be found at http://dublin2014.epp.eu/.

Hosted by Taoiseach and leader of Fine GaelEnda KENNY, and by EPP President Joseph DAUL, the Congress in Dublin will debate the EPP electoral programme and elect its candidate for President of the European Commission.
 
The speakers on Thursday, 6 March will include (in alphabetical order by surname, subject to change): Angelino ALFANO (Italy), Lars BARFOED (Denmark),Boyko BORISSOV (Bulgaria), Simon BUSUTTIL (Malta), Jean-François COPÉ(France), Mikuláš DZURINDA (President of CES), Ján FIGEĽ (Slovakia), CharlesFLANAGAN (Ireland), Nikola GRUEVSKI (FYROM), Janez JANŠA (Slovenia),Tomislav KARAMARKO (Croatia), Vitaly KLITSCHKO (Ukraine), Andrius KUBILIUS (Lithuania), Iurie LEANCĂ (Moldova), Urmas REINSALU (Estonia),Serzh SARGSYAN (Armenia), Erna SOLBERG (Norway), Yulia TYMOSHENKO(Ukraine), Sybrand VAN HAERSMA BUMA (Netherlands), Arseniy YATSENYUK(Ukraine).
 
The speakers on Friday, 7 March will include (in alphabetical order by surname, subject to change): Nicos ANASTASIADES (Cyprus), Jose Manuel BARROSO(President of the European Commission), Traian BĂSESCU (Romania), Joseph DAUL (EPP President), Jyrki KATAINEN (Finland), Enda KENNY (Ireland),Antonio LÓPEZ-ISTÚRIZ (EPP Secretary General), Angela MERKEL (Germany),Viktor ORBÁN (Hungary), Pedro PASSOS COELHO (Portugal), Mariano RAJOY(Spain), Antonis SAMARAS (Greece), Michael SPINDELEGGER (Austria),Laimdota STRAUJUMA (Latvia), Donald TUSK (Poland), and Herman VAN ROMPUY (President of the European Council).
 
Approximately 2,000 participants from 39 countries will take part in the Dublin Congress.
